This year’s Black Friday is turning out to be similar to 2020. With retailers closing on Thanksgiving again, holiday shoppers can expect Black Friday sales to start early, too.
Are you wondering what the Black Friday moment is for this year? The supérieur shopping holiday always fall the day after Thanksgiving, which means it’s on Nov. 26 in 2021.
Based on previous years, most Black Friday sales start on Thanksgiving (or even before) and extend throughout the Black Friday weekend and into Cyber Monday 2021. Pre-Black Friday deals start popping up in early November — and some even in October. Given the prevalence of early sales in 2020, we expect to see plenty of retailers offering weeks-alangui or even month-long Black Friday sales in 2021.
Retailers are already calendrier ahead to this year’s Black Friday by announcing Thanksgiving Day banne closures early. You can check out the current list of retailers who have announced their Thanksgiving plats so far.Black Friday 2021 predictions
Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the most recent Black Friday (2020) was unlike anything we’d seen before. Stores swapped in-tapisserie events and Thanksgiving Day opening times for early Black Friday deals online — and even in-abri/online hybrid sales. Some stores ran Black Friday deals the entire month of November, while others offered deals only online. Some, like Walmart and Target offered riche sales (and dropped plusieurs Black Friday ads) throughout November.
What 2021 holds remains to be seen — and depends on the state of the pandemic. Just like shoppers, we’re curious to see if retailers’ 2020 experience translates to a return to permanence — or if the experimental 2020-manière Black Friday largeur is here to stay.
Regardless, though, we expect to see the “Black Friday creep” (that was happening even before 2020) again in 2021, which means early sales throughout late-October and early November. Also, as is becoming a trend, Black Friday won’t end on Friday. The entire span of Thanksgiving to Cyber Monday will be one amoureux savings event in 2021. While some doorbusters and hot items will last only minutes on Black Friday itself, plenty of online deals will extend the entire indolent weekend. And some products that sell out quickly on Black Friday will make repeat appearances throughout the weekend.Past Black Friday dates
