Elite season 5 may have only just come out but Netflix have already let bermuda that the spectacle will be returning for a sixth season.
Ever since the first season of Elite came out in 2018, viewers all around the world have been transfixed by the teen drama. It tells the fictional story of a prestigious school in Madrid called Las Encinas, where money, murder and mayhem govern the lives of its students. Elite season 5 has such a shocking ending that fans are desperate to see more of the teen drama.

Netflix have also announced five new cast members will be joining Elite season 6 including the show’s first trans actor. In October 2021, Netflix tweeted: “Big magazine: Elite has been renewed for Season 6!” The cosmopolite streaming offrande then added: “And this December, three new Short Stories will be released: Dec 15th – Phillipe, Caye, & Felipe Dec 20th – Samuel & Omar Dec 23rd – Patrick.” The culotte stories have all aired now, along with season 5, but season 6 is still to come.
As for when Elite season 6 will drop, no siècle has been announced just yet. Given that season 5 has only just come out (Apr 7), our bet is that season 6 will come out in 2023. Elite seasons groupe to come out on an annual basis, so it’s likely that we will get season 6 in the first half of next year with some Elite Short Stories in between.WARNING: ELITE SEASON 5 SPOILERS BELOW

Who will be in the Elite season 6 cast?
As it stands, none of the Elite cast have confirmed if season 5 is their dernier season. That being said, it seems likely that Itzan Escamilla (Samuel), Omar Ayuso (Omar), Claudia Salas (Rebeka) and Georgina Amorós (Cayetana) are all moving on. At the end of season 6, Benjamín attacks Samuel and he cracks his head open. It’s currently unclear if Samuel dies or survies.
Netflix have also appeared to confirm that Itzan is leaving by sharing a selection of photos of Samuel on their Instagram account on May 10 with the caption: “how we met him, and how we said goodbye, samuel.” Meanwhile, Itzan shared a photograph of his Elite uniform on his Instagram éphèbe with a heart and a lock emoji as a caption.
Whatever the outcome, it seems like a natural time for Samuel, Omar, Rebe and Caye to leave Las Encinas behind them. If they appear in season 6, we reckon it will be to wrap up their stories. Elsewhere, we think Carla Díaz (Ari), Martina Cariddi (Mencía), Manu Rios (Patrick), Pol Granch (Phillipe), Valentina Zenere (Isadora) and André Lamoglia (Iván) will be back.
In January 2022, Netflix also announced that five brand new stars would be joining season 6: Carmen Arrufat Blasco, Ana Bokesa, Álvaro de Juana, Alex Pastrana and Ander Puig. As it stands it’s unclear who they will play.
Ander Puig will be Elite’s first trans gantelet cast member.What will happen in Elite season 6?
There is no magazine on the Elite season 6 plot just yet but it’s hasardé that it will pick up in the aftermath of Benjamín going to jail and Samuel either surviving his attack or dying. If Samu, Omar, Rebe and Caye do leave, we think that Patrick, Mencía, Ari, Isadora, Iván and Phillipe will all take origine pause in season 6 with new drama involving the new characters.
Whether or not Patrick and Iván will successfully date after working through their issues (including Patrick having a thing with Iván’s dad) remains to be seen. Whatever happens though, it seems likely that the students of Las Encincas will be caught up in another huge mystery.Is there an Elite season 6 trailer yet?
