San Lorenzo drew 1-1 with Tigre and has not won ten games at the New Gasometer

San Lorenzo drew 1-1 with Tigre at the Pedro Bidegain Stadium before a good crowd that spoke in favor of their players, but showed their anger with the leadership by calling for elections. In the match for the fifth date of the Professional Soccer League, the Cyclone reaches a streak of 10 games without victories in the New Gasometer. The Matador goal was scored by Lucas Blondel and Adam Bareiro equalized for San Lorenzo. The match has the referee Ariel Penel was replaced due to a tear.

The two showed their intentions to play in the rival field, but San Lorenzo went deeper and their credentials were Nicolás Fernández Mercau and Adam Bareiro.

In the first quarter of an hour a striking event happened which was the injury of referee Ariel Penel, who accused “I can’t step”. The judge showed signs of discomfort in his right calf and was replaced by Héctor Paletta. Later Penel confirmed that he had a tear.

Then the match entered a plateau until at 24 minutes Facundo Colidio made a great play dribbling from left to right and hit Lucas Blondel who stung it and defined it to open the scoring.

Then San Lorenzo looked for the tie and had chances, but lacked aim. While Tigre, with few possessions, was more practical for the attack, but could not widen his difference.

At the end of the first half there was controversy over a play in which Colidio touched it with his chest and the San Lorenzo players claimed a hand, but Paleta did not receive the VAR call and ended the initial 45 minutes.
